The infusion of fall colors in the trees of the San Bernardino Mountains is in full swing. The crisp, cool autumn air is back at Big Bear Lake! To take advantage of the fall season and looming holidays, we have put together a calendar to show you what to do in November at Big Bear Lake.

Big Bear Turkey Trot
The seventh annual Big Bear Turkey Trot is a run event for the whole family on Thursday, Nov. 28. The race, which consists of 3-mile, 6-mile and 9-mile road runs, takes place at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day so you can prepare for your big meal later. Packet pickup is from 4-7 p.m. on November 27th or same day registration starts at 7 a.m. Traditions include a prize for the overall race winner and the winner of the best costume. Registration ranges from $25 for the youth 3- mile course to $50 for the 9-mile adult race.
Mountain Christmas Boutique
The 35th annual Mountain Christmas Boutique kicks off the holiday season at Big Bear Lake with a three day arts and crafts show Nov. 29 – Dec. 1 at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center. The largest arts and crafts show in the mountains, it features new crafters each year and has activities for children to make their own Christmas crafts. The arts and crafts show is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 29 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. For more information, call (909) 585-3000.

Santaās Grand Entrance and Tree Lighting
Welcome the start to the Christmas season at Big Bear Lake with Santaās Grand Entrance and Tree Lighting! The event runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29 in the Village at Big Bear Lake at the corner of Pine Knot Boulevard and Village Drive. Call (909) 878-4747 for more information.
