Big Bear Airport Young Eagles Program
Have your kids always wanted to fly? Make that dream a reality by enrolling them in the Big Bear Airport Young Eagles Program, where kids fly free 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4. Children between the ages of 8 and 17 are given a free airplane ride around Big Bear Lake by pilots from the Pilot’s Association of Big Bear.

Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest
Who’s ready to celebrate German style family fun and food? The 49th annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, rated the No. 1 Oktoberfest in Southern California, opens noon to midnight Saturday, Sept. 7 and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8.
The festival runs for eight consecutive weekends through Nov. 2 at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center, 42900 Big Bear Blvd.
