October is here and with it comes cooler daytime temperatures. Look at Thursday’s high, for example – 46 degrees! Despite the cool temperatures it is lovely weather in Big Bear Lake. Some days are a bit chilly but still sunny, so you should come on up and enjoy the sunshine. Often 60° feels warmer here because of our altitude ranging from 6750 feet to nearly 9000 feet. We’re closer to the sun than those of you that live in lower altitudes! Now is the time to enjoy these cooler temperatures with a hike or by taking in one of our fall festivals.
