Jumping jingle bells it’s already holiday time here at Big Bear Lake! This year has flown by faster than the bald eagles over the lake at breakfast time. Thankfully there is still time to spend a weekend get-away with us in 2015. Make your reservation in one of our cozy cabins or luxury hotel rooms today.
Holiday Family Fun at Big Bear Lake
Here’s a fun little event. Bring your gently used, unwanted sweaters to the Sweater Exchange Party at the North Shore Trading Company. It’s a great way to refresh the wardrobe or donate to a good cause—all leftover sweaters will be donated to the Domestic Violence Education and Services of Big Bear Valley (DOVES).
Take the kids to the Annual Holiday Celebration at the Big Bear Lake Branch Library on December 17th for story time with Mrs. Claus and of course an appearance of Santa. The event is from 3 to 5 pm at the library.
Holiday Music Events at Big Bear
The Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center has many festive holiday performances. Catch A Fiddlin’ Christmas on December 3rd, the 2015 Winter Voice Recital on December 6th and the 2015 Winter Showcase by the Moonridge School of Dance on December 10th. Feeling like belting out those holiday tunes? Then attend the Messiah Sing-Along on December 12th.
Our local indoor concert venue, The Cave has an exciting line up for the December holiday season. Featuring national rock acts and local favorites, The Cave is one of the best places in Big Bear to catch live music for your evening out. To get you into the Christmas spirit, the venue is hosting Jim Curry’s “A Rocky Mountain Christmas: The Music of John Denver” on December 6th.
We hope this helps you deck your calendar with holiday festivities and we hope to see you this holiday season with us!
