Cowgirlography

Nancy Celeste Walker will have a concert this Sunday afternoon presenting her favorite cowboy and cowgirl songs in an evening of music called “Cowgirlography.” She will be joined by other local musicians, and telling stories of famous cowgirls through history. This event is hosted by the Friends of Fawnskin, and will take place in the garden at the Inn of Fawnskin. Don’t miss out on this wonderful evening!

2 Bit Palamino

This Saturday at the Bear Cave Event Center you can see the Texas Music Award’s 2011 Vocal Group of The Year, 2 Bit Palamino! They have taken the Texas music scene by storm, and now will debut their brand of country music here at Big Bear Lake. Called a “must have CD” by the Examiner.com, tickets are still available for this show.

Reunion

Next weekend the music keeps on going with the group REUNION, formerly known as The Lettermen, playing at the Big Bear Performing Arts Center. This group, revived from their 1970’s slumber, will be doing a benefit concert for the Big Bear Association of Realtors “Can Tree, ” Meals on Wheels, and St. Joseph’s and Believer’s Chapel Food Pantries.

Music is not the only thing happening at Big Bear Lake over the next few weeks! You will need plenty of time for fishing, exploring the Scenic Sky Chair, hiking through the wilderness trails, and all of the other adventures around the area. We would love for you to stay with us, we are within walking distance of so many of those activities and the lake, come have a look at our beautiful scenery in our live cameras. Have a wonderful week!
