First mild, then let it snow! The weather forecast for this week promises sunny skies with mild temperatures until Saturday when we are expecting some snowfall in the Big Bear Mountains. Lows will be in the mid 20’s all week. Come on up and do some shopping this week and then get out those skis for a great weekend!

Good news all! In case you missed the announcement last week the Big Bear Ski Slopes are officially open for the 2011/2012 winter season. The price is right for the early bird with early season special rates: Adults (22+)- Full day $40, Half day $35 Young adults (13-21)* and Seniors (62+)*- Full day $35, Half day $30 Children (7-12)- Full day $15, Half day $10 Children 6 and under are FREE with a paying adult *Valid ID required

The Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain and Big Bear Snow Play are both open for the 2011/2012 winter season. Head over and grab an inner tube and go up the magic carpet to the top. Both snow play areas offer a snack bar and arcade.
Live Theater in Big Bear
November 18, 19, 20– Big Bear Valley’s Community Arts Theater Society (CATS) Presents “A Christmas Carol” at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center. There will be 11 viewings of this original CATS stage adaptation of the classic Christmas tale. The show opens Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 P.M. followed by Saturday, Nov. 19 at the same time.
