Tuesday, June 28– Every Tuesday this summer visit the Big Bear Farmers Market at the Convention Center.  More vendors arrive every week to sell their goods and it’s always fun to get a great bargain. The market opens at 8:30 A.M.

Thursday, June 30– Before the crowds arrive for the weekend spend today fishing, as it is always a fun and relaxing way to spend the day. Whether you decide to fish right off of our docks, head over to Stanfield Cutoff, or rent a boat and head to the dam, you are sure to catch something good to eat. We’ve researched the best places to fish in Big Bear so you’re sure to have a successful day.

Enjoy the clean mountain air and laid back atmosphere that makes this four season resort community a real getaway from the big city.  Admission is free.  For more information on the 6th Annual Pine Knot Village Art Walk, visit www.artsmda.org

Monday, July 4th– Come and share the biggest 4th of July fireworks display in Southern California with us.  The fireworks are shot off from a barge on the lake directly off of Pine Knot Landing which is right next to Big Bear Frontier.  Fireworks begin between 8:45-9:15 pm.  You can view the fireworks from any of our public parks, or the best spot is from our beach.  Make sure to bring a jacket or blanket because it can get chilly.

We still have a few rooms available for the holiday weekend, so visit the Big Bear Frontier website to make a reservation or call 1-800-798-3960. We look forward to seeing you!
