What do to in Big Bear Lake

Start this holiday weekend off right with a snowshoe tour at the Discovery Center. Explore the beautiful scenery that Big Bear Lake has to offer! Tours are scheduled this week on Thursday and Friday from 9am-12pm.  They are limited to 12 people so reservations are recommended – call (909) 866-3437.

New Year’s Eve 2012 Events

Hit the slopes on New Years Eve at Snow Summit and be treated to a torchlight parade starting at 7pm. It’s a spectacular sight to see 200 skiers and snowboarders carry torches down Miracle Mile to weave a mysterious path of light.

After the parade Snow Summit will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party for guests 21 and up starting at 8pm. Bear Mountain is also hosting a New Year’s party for guests 21 and up, beginning at 9pm.

B’s Boathouse

Come on down to B’s Boathouse and ring in the New Year with Plethora featuring drink specials, dancing, appetizers, prizes, and more. Admission Price: $10 at the door or included with B’s BBQ Dinner Entrée.

Wyatt’s Café & Saloon

Join the folks down at Wyatt’s Cafe and Saloon as they host a country New Year’s Eve celebration from 8pm-2am featuring entertainment, dancing, and children’s activities including arts & crafts and a bounce house. Kids’ activities are available until 9pm. Admission is free, including a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
