Rev up your engines for the 22nd Annual Big Bear Fun Run Antique Car Show in Big Bear Lake. Contestant slots are sold out so we are expecting a spectacular show on display for this popular event in Big Bear Village this year. The show takes place on August 12th, 13th, and 14th 2011. The event is free and open to anyone to attend, so come out and enjoy the beauty of these classic cars!
The Car Show is one of the most popular summer events in Big Bear Lake and in Southern California so be sure to make lodging accommodations in advance if you plan to stay overnight. As of this writing we have rooms available at Big Bear Frontier within walking distance to the event. We’re pet friendly so if your pooch or feline wants to join in on the fun, the more the merrier!
The Car Show promises entertainment for people of all ages along with raffles for great prizes. Awards will be distributed on Sunday, August 14th as the competition between hot rods really heats up. The schedule for the entire event is as follows.
Friday, August 12th
9:00 am: Early check-in at the registration booth, located in the Bartlett parking lot.
Saturday, August 13th
7:00 am: Pre-assigned parking in the Village and Bartlett lot.
12:00 pm and later: 50/50 drawing, “Village Business Association” raffles and the engine raffle in the Bartlett parking lot.
3:45 pm: “The CRUISE AROUND THE LAKE” starts on Village Dr.
Sunday, August 14th
7:30am: Car staging for Award Ceremony in Bartlett Lot.
9:00am: Awards Ceremony presentation.
