What to do this week in Big Bear

Saturday, October 29- Experience Boo in the Zoo at the Moonridge animal park.  Bring the children on this special day for a late afternoon/early evening of Tricks ‘n Treat at the Graveyard, Pumpkin Patch, Electric Dungeon of Doom, Witches Brew, Scarecrow Land, Witches Lair, and Goblins throughout the park.  Also enjoy seeing the park animals receive their Halloween treats!  Call (909)878-4200 for entry fee and hours.

Saturday, October 29- The last night of the 41st annual Oktoberfest at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center is this Saturday. Bring your costume for the ‘German Spooktacular,’ the annual costume contest for both adults and children. The adult contest this year will offer up to $1,000 in prizes! Adult costume contest begins at 9:00 p.m. and the children’s at 3:00 p.m. Children in costume get in FREE.  http://bigbearevents.com/

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 28, 29, and 30- This is the last weekend for the ‘Panic in the Park’ haunted house at the Meadow Park Gym.  The haunted house is for ages 10 and up.  The cost is $5.00 per person and it is definitely worth it.  For more spine tingling information on this event visit http://www.bigbearparks.com.
