What to do this week

Whether you like to shop, eat, or just hang around, or if you’re the adventurous type that likes to hike, fish, ride and glide, there is never a dull moment at 7000 feet.

Tues, June 7- Farmers Market starting at 8:30am every Tuesday at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center.  Every week new vendors are arriving.  The selection of fruits, veggies, antiques, shoes, toys, jewelry, etc. is different every week.  You wouldn’t want to miss that great deal!

Hike, bike, even skate it. Alpine Pedal Path along the North Shore of beautiful Big Bear Lake offers something for everyone, even those in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller. The 3.5 mile (each way) route that begins at Stanfield Cutoff is paved and basically level with only a few gentle ups and downs, an easy trek for anyone who laces up tennis shoes or inline skates. Along the way incredible views of surrounding mountain peaks, including Snow Summit across the water are featured, and the lake itself is a constant companion, sometimes just a few feet from the path.
